I bought this because the previous owner stripped the threads in the aluminum housing for the front motor mount. They filled the hole with red Loctite and left it. A few years later when my dad was buying a car and the engine mount was worn out and needed replacing. That's where we found it. It was more of a hassle removing and drilling out the old screw and hole than fixing it with this kit. My 82 year old father is very happy with the results. Best to spend $20. The same in a heli coil kit would be $75 and it did the same job.
