Absolutely beautiful fit and finish. The pedals turned like without friction. I originally bought these for my gravel bike but found them to be really lacking in grip and my feet kept slipping on the pedals when the going got rough. like that . I mounted them on my touring bike. After all, they are touring pedals. and on this bike with grippy boots they work great. A plus . They add class to the old Cannondale tourer. It's nice to be able to wear shoes to ride in and go to dinner in after a trip. By only taking one pair of shoes with you on tour, you save valuable space. And no, I don't think they are any less efficient than the clipless pedals I've had, just different. Straps or toe clips can be attached to it if desired.
