This worked great for my Shimano hydraulic brake lines. The reviewer mentioned adding a drop of oil to the threads because its twist wasn't as smooth. Mine were fine but I also added just a few drops of light oil (TriLube) and now they spin very smoothly. I like the aluminum body, it feels more durable than the plastic versions. I appreciate that they provide a few spare pinheads; very pretty! The included cutter works. I have another line cutter that I use but the one that came with it seems to work fine. All in all, this is a great tool to have in your toolbox!
