I bought this desk along with the "LapGear Designer Lap Desk" and can't believe they are made by the same company. A design desk that is robust, well made and only slightly heavier than this one. This lap table feels very light and flimsy, the fabric on the bottom is cheap, and there aren't enough beads/pills in the cushion so it doesn't sit snugly or evenly on your lap. Also, the non-slip rubber support bar isn't really attached to the table, which I think is a defect, not a design. It partially sits in a long groove and rolls out as you move the laptop across the table. It was a waste of money. For a few dollars more, the designer lap table is way better than this one.
