These chairs are good value, good looking and satisfying on first use. If you use it every day you will be disappointed. First one of the adjustable gas springs holding the chair failed (about 4 months) and the manufacturer sent us a replacement free of charge. Then the running board broke on one chair, then on another, then on the other the gas shock absorber failed. They still look neat but are of no real use as they slowly collapse when you sit on them and both footpegs are now broken. These are chairs, they're cheap and they look nice. They just aren't suitable for those who want to sit every day. Update - There is now a large metal pin sticking out from one side that will rip your clothes and potentially spill blood.
