IMHO Fitbit's biggest problem is charging. I started with the original Fitbit, and while I haven't had one since, I now have a Fitbit 4. Charging connectivity has improved, but it's still barely adequate. You'll need to wiggle the Fitbit in place to ensure it has a good connection. Since Fitbit switched to a clamp, connectivity has improved. For the Fitbit 4, I decided to leave the included charging cable in my travel bag and purchase one of the many stands listed on Revain for my desktop at home. I chose the CAVN charging dock after reviewing others. Now that I've had it for multiple charge cycles, I'd say I prefer it to the Fitbit clip. However, the CAVN charging dock still doesn't always connect correctly when you dock a Fitbit for the first time. I still have to wiggle it to make sure the loading window shows up on the Fitbit. But after that it loads fine. I am happy with the purchase.
