Too bad. Another recent reviewer, Janine Dulcher, had the same experience on August 21, 2020. This listing is for model 79436997J with 5/8 cutting capacity. This is not the Fiskars product that arrived today. Like Janine, I received the 9684 which has a 1/2" cutting capacity. This is a smaller pruner that I don't want to be involved with after using 79436997J for years. Check the bottom left corner of the package. If 1/2 stands within the small circle you have fallen prey to baiting and substitution The other tip is on the secateurs themselves If there is a small black plastic loop on the inside bottom edge of the top handle then you have the cheaper 9684.
