On receipt put new batteries in the remote and tried to turn the TV on. Vain. Replaced batteries and still no luck. Please note that I checked the voltage on both sets of batteries and they were fine. The TV works with buttons on the side so I turned it on and then tried to turn it off with the remote. Nothing. This remote control is a replacement for the original one that I lost. This original worked fine until it disappeared, so I'm assuming the TV is fine. Being a slightly pushy technician, I read the instructions for the TV using the remote control. No special synchronization. needed for. There were no instructions with the remote control. Another cheap piece of junk from an unknown Chinese manufacturer. And does it get a Revain recommendation? Wow!
