Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Ultraspire Lumen Ally Hydration Waist Belt - Personalize Your Waist Light Setup (Light NOT Included) by Gerald Hill

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I really wanted to love it. So many things could have been better.

I wanted to use my Ultraspire Lumen 600 light as/with a hydration system. I didn't want to wear 2 separate belts around my waist. It seems ridiculous that there isn't a better way to do this, or that one of the many hydration pack manufacturers hasn't come up with a good system for running at night (lights around the waist!). So I got this Ally and Ultraspire Synaptic 2.0 as it looked like the smallest hydration belt they offer that came with Ally (very bad choice in my opinion). It's too bulky for me - a 5ft 2in woman weighing 112 pounds. I will use it because unfortunately that is all I have. I also wrote this review to agree with another reviewer who mentioned that the part where the light is stays flat (he sewed his to that useless pocket. WHY isn't there velcro or SOMETHING to close that pocket hold? Things will just pop out of it (unless you go I guess) I can just cut this stuff out. I mean it's useless to me personally. Anyway. Back to the part where the lantern sits - another reviewer sewed his bottom up. "I see how it works. I plan to use velcro to keep it flat. (Why doesn't Bryce Thatcher see that flaw instead of writing his name on the side of the belt? ) Also the belts are so long what should I do with them so they don't all hang over the place? - narrow waist so I have a lot of extra material :-( I'm thinking about cutting them off. One last comp earth. Ally? Those of us who live in South Florida who sweat - REALLY wanted to put our key fob in that bag but were afraid my psychopath would destroy it. What a waste.
