I have been using solar lights from various brands to light up my bushes for years, especially around the holidays. After that I just leave them on because I like to look at them at night. Most of these solar lights are almost identical: hundreds of tiny LEDs are strung on a thin, strong wire. You must place the sun rack in a place where it will be exposed to the sun during the day. There are multiple settings on the waterproof switch that allow you to use different lighting modes. DOWN: These lamps only last a few years. The solar panel is made of plastic and will "freeze" when exposed to the elements, preventing the battery from charging properly. You can bring transparent plastic to life with PlastX, but the sun will eventually ruin the surface of the solar cell. For the price I would give it 4-1/2 stars.
