This is a whole new way to clean your grill. It leaves no dangerous wires behind and is strong enough to withstand at least two poles. I often use it to thoroughly clean niches, corners and between gratings of stubborn goo. I use it when the grill is hot and the food is separating nicely, albeit slowly. When I first used it I found I needed a terry towel after cleaning as there was finer loose residue and the goo could not be reached from the flat edges. After wiping, I found it was the best cleaning this thing has had since its first triple tip. I keep a towel next to the grill and am happy with the tool. I wish there was some sort of heat resistant washing device on the one hand to avoid using a towel.
