YnM: A Case of Excessive Hype and Inadequate Delivery

As someone who is somewhat new to the furniture and décor industry in this country, I was thrilled when I learned about YnM's well-deserved reputation for flair and elegance. Having said that, my expectations were not met in the least when I visited their web store. Although there was a very wide variety of things to choose from, keep in mind that number does not always indicate quality. The so-called "novel stocking holders" were nothing more than garish baubles, and the seasonal decorations lacked creativity and originality. Moreover, the lack of creativity and originality was a problem. When it came to the fundamentals required for day-to-day life, the quality was on par with those of the goods sold at any other generic home goods store. In addition to having products that did not live up to expectations, the website itself was difficult to navigate. Due to the fact that everything was cluttered, chaotic, and laid out in a way that was unclear, it was very difficult for me to find what I was searching for. In general, I am unable to suggest YnM. It is possible that in the past they had a reputation that blazed like a light, but now it appears that reputation has dimmed into a glow that is uninspired.

Pros
  • Large and varied variety of home furnishings and accessories.
Cons
  • It's possible that certain things are priced too much.
