This unit did Not work well when playing back TV shows recorded on my cable providers DVR. It cut off 1/2 of all the words spoken. 90% of my TV viewing is of shows I record on my DVR so this unit was useless to me. Unfortunately It was a gift and by the time I found someone who could hook it up for me the short return option had expired. Calling ZVOX's help line was of no help and the person that I spoke to was rude and snarky.
