This may have been user error but I had the hardest time installing this mount. The orientation of the hooks (one slides down, the other slides sideways) complicates installation. I don't know why they couldn't slide both hooks down to make it as easy as possible. Another issue I had was that due to the location of my soundbar, one hook was well secured to the rack while the other required drywall mounting - resulting in one of the hooks being weaker than the other and the soundbar didn't exactly stay. I ended up having to return this product and buy a similar mount (from the same company I think) that had adhesive pads and was much easier to attach to the studs.
