Not scary, but be sure to check
It was hard to get them to stay and they don't completely cover my air conditioners. I've done my research to make sure I'm buying the right side and one that has a drawer drawstring to make sure it fits perfectly so no drafts get in. But it still comes from below. I think you get what you pay for.
