Great sump for emergency exits from a window well that was flooding my basement. This pump features an automatic on-off switch that activates when 1-1/2 inches of water is present. Clamps can attach a 24-foot universal outlet hose kit directly to the outlet end of a 1-1/4-inch slip-fit check valve. The hose comes with clamps. Check valve, without many adapters / additional fittings. 5. I dug a hole in the window deep enough to accommodate a 4 inch deep plastic kitchen sink so the top of the sink is level with the window. . I installed the pool drain pump after drilling a few small holes in the side and bottom of the pool. This allows water to enter the pool and start the pump long before the water level reaches the bottom of the window well, which is about 4 inches below the window sill.
