Not sure how something like this would work. I've used a flux cored metal anti-spatter spray and it worked, but I recently got a Hobart Handler 190. I applied it to the nozzle with a Q-tip (very thin) after cleaning. To my surprise, after a little welding, anything stuck to the nozzle came loose with a quick wipe of a shop rag. When I'm making longer welds, I dip the nozzle this product was designed for and it gives it a nice thin coat.
