Review on ExcelSteel Professional Quality Colander Santopreme by Brenda Perry

This is an excellent strainer. I use it to rinse rice, the strainer is very fine and the grains are held securely in the strainer. I also make a lot of smoothies and use them to wash some berries and fruit in a colander. It is very easy to use, you can just put it in the sink, wash the items, shake them, and then put the colander on the counter next to the rice steamer or blender. I have 2, the smaller size for smoothies and the larger size for straining broths. When I remove the bones, meat, and veggies from my broth, I place them in this colander that sits on top of a large mixing bowl. I press the ingredients firmly against the rim of the colander. This allows me to collect every last precious drop of broth. The price is very reasonable and I recommend trying a few different sizes of this strainer for your culinary needs.
