Well designed. It has legs so it can be placed without a pot. Insulated handles prevent hand burns when lifting from pot after steaming vegetables. Suitable for SS Cuisinart gravy boat. Big enough to cook for 2-3 people. This is the item we use to wash fruit. The handle is made of thermoplastic, do not expose to high temperatures.

Great for rinsing a portion or two of fruit like cherries or for quickly emptying cans of vegetables and beans. I don't really need a big one so this was the perfect purchase for me. I don't have a lot of space to store my essentials, so I really appreciate the size. It is very durable and can be washed in the dishwasher. Fast shipping and well packaged.

I love reheating rice, it's not an easy process but this colander is small enough to fit in a steamer. I had to remove the handles to attach it, easy! I've been looking for something like this for a month and then this came up, I'm glad I bought it! This makes reheating the rice an easy task and the rice will be just as fluffy as when it was first cooked! Wonderful!

This is the only one I've found to be of good construction with lattice girders. Unless the screens are very small, they easily lose their shape and become brittle. Small and large use the same mesh, but different sizes require different levels of support. This works well and is pleasant to use. I firmly believe that with reasonable use it will last a long time. I love it and am glad I found it.

This is a very well made SMALL stainless steel colander with feet to keep it off the sink floor. I gave it 4 stars not because it has any flaws but to point out that it is quite small. It's my fault I didn't measure by the seven, I should be sure I'm ordering the size I really need. Instead, I suggested that 6-1/2" would be big enough. It's not big enough for the things I wanted to use it for. However, this is a very good little strainer. I'll order the next size up.

This is an excellent strainer. I use it to rinse rice, the strainer is very fine and the grains are held securely in the strainer. I also make a lot of smoothies and use them to wash some berries and fruit in a colander. It is very easy to use, you can just put it in the sink, wash the items, shake them, and then put the colander on the counter next to the rice steamer or blender.
