Best Chinese Electronics

Extech is the same as Pyle PDMT05. Well, some Chinese company sells them in bulk and changes the sticker on the front if they wish. There's nothing wrong. Just remember that rebranding hardware like this means there's really no ownership of the product. you can tell. I would give this unit 4 stars if the following were true: 1) (This is the most important thing to me!) If the signal processing stabilized quickly. You should get fast, semi-accurate results. Not so with this one. The signals are floating. Sometimes for a while.2) If the body was thinner. I can't understand why they made it so fat. And it doesn't even have a stand. With all that thickness, you would also think that the outer plastic shell is really strong. It's not like this. It's an odd synthetic rubber laminate that's easily scratched and peeled off. 3) The sensor wires are built into the housing. You go downstairs. Therefore, it is not possible to put this block in a vertical position. Again, a little standing and vertical work is REALLY useful. Other than that, it's a lot of features in a relatively small package. Great for my mini electronics travel kit.
