It does the job of squeezing citrus. My husband ordered so I didn't read the description on the web and was embarrassed about the grater. Now I see it might work for garlic or ginger. I tried peeling the zest off the lemon - to no avail - and threw it away. Also the "juicer" I see is for large fruit - it's hard plastic and useless for a medium sized orange or lemon - not sure how it fits around something large - I redesigned it. So it works for squeezing oranges and lemons and washes well in the dishwasher but has extra parts that I don't think are needed.
