I bought this to replace a similar one because the old analogue tuner was a problem. The presence of a digital tuner is a plus. But a few nits. With the old one, you could set the day of the week and then set alarms that only sounded Monday through Friday. This one doesn't know anything about the days of the week - the alarm goes off every day, so I have to turn the alarm off every Friday and turn it on again on Sunday. Although the standard display has three levels of brightness, none of them fit. Day and night, so I have to change the brightness twice a day. And the ceiling display is brighter than my old one - ideally I'd prefer it a little darker.
