Perfect fit, be sure to calibrate the anti-pinch function for best results.

Installation was easy, definitely a DIY project. Remember to calibrate the pinch sensors after installation, otherwise the window may not open/close with one touch. The perfect substitute for a factory. The figure is two hours for repairs.

Saved my 4th of July vacation!

My Legacy 2011 had a broken wire before the 4th of July weekend. There was no spare parts dealer who could help me. All were closed. Thank goodness for Revain and her ability to deliver. The best news is that installation was easy (less than 30 minutes) and this DORMAN kit works beautifully and flawlessly. The window is like new again. Win. Win.

great price, easy installation

Perfect detail! I was glad the window was finally working again! Also, it was so easy to install because Dotman has a glass mount 2" in front of the bottom position that allows easy access to the 2 screws that hold the glass to the regulator. Otherwise, the rest is simply unscrewed and connected. Also, the price was great compared to the "AutoBone" price of $274.99!

Perfect OEM Match!: Power Window & Motor Assemblies

Perfect Match! The hardest part was removing the native block. My motor stalled with the window in the up position so the motor magnet had to be removed while it was still installed to lower the window and remove the block. Once this process was complete, this installed quickly and without any problems! The motor is a little louder than the OEM version, but who cares? The auto raise/lower feature on my Outback works exactly as intended. Good product!

Immaculate 2011 Subaru Outback

Removing the old ESC and motor was the hardest part. First you have to lower the window, which of course is not possible if the old engine is not running. The trick I learned online was removing the three bolts covering the silver engine cover, which is admittedly tricky while the old block is still in place. Remove the engine block from the door, then you can adjust it as needed to access the three screws that cover the engine. Once you've removed the cover, pull out the old motor and then you

Exact replacement and works great

I first just bought the window motor assembly from another site and it didn't work due to the pin connections on the motor. Also, since the motor and controller are fixed, it would be difficult to remove and reinstall them. This part was perfect for the driver's door on my 2011 Subaru Legacy. Couldn't be happier for the fact that it saved me $400 in dealer maintenance and wasn't any louder than the original it replaced, so I'm not sure about other reviewers. Buy with confidence and save someโ€ฆ

everything worked great! The motor is a little louder than the original.

Installed 2011 Ouback with Up and Down Auto. This is a fairly simple process, with the most complex part being the actual placement of the components in the door. The Dorman motor is missing the black hook to hold it in place while you bolt it down. Be sure to follow the reinitialization procedures outlined in the user manual. Once it was removed and the door panel reattached everything worked great! The motor is a little louder than stock motors on other windows, but hardly worth mentioningโ€ฆ

Perfect for Subaru Legacy 5th Generation

Of course, before you buy, make sure the switch isn't to blame. Removing the door panel is easy to do and I would recommend taking a few shots after removing it as there are about half a dozen electrical connections to disconnect as well as the door lock and latch wires. It's not difficult at all if you follow them. The hardest part in my case was removing the existing motor and controller (track) as the unit failed with the window in the vertical position and therefore cannot be removed inโ€ฆ
