The rotation speed comparison with a CNC machine was within 1% or better. I highly recommend spending the extra $10.
I bought this unit after returning a unit that was about $10 cheaper but didn't work. This device gives me a very accurate RPM reading when reading the spindle RPM on a CNC router equipped with a spindle encoder and RPM reading. The speed comparison with the CNC machine was within 1% or better. I highly recommend spending the extra $10 on this device.
