I bought two sets of this RAM totaling 64GB which will allow you to get the most out of the Z390 AORUS Ultra motherboard it is installed on. Its intended use is a combination of gaming and computing, so this review was written with those aspects in mind (and why else would you need so much RAM?). The elephant in the review: The speed of this RAM is 2666 MHz CL19. It's terrible by today's gaming standards. Most mainstream gaming kits operate in the 3000-3200MHz CL16 band, and affordable kits also operate in the 3600MHz CL18 band. It's debatable how important memory speed is; some games care and some don't. Ryzen processors care more than Intel processors. What gives this RAM is cheapness. The first set was available for $73; the second costs $90. So $160 for 64GB of RAM. It's really hard to beat. They are stamped by SpecTek, a Micron sub-brand. These are 16GB peer-to-peer DIMMs, which is not particularly common. The same flash memory is used in the 3200MHz version of Corsair's 32GB flash drives; The supposed bottom drawers on these slats don't work that fast, but they worked surprisingly well when I pressed them. I actually got a decent overclock with these DIMMs considering where they started. My 4 sticks are stable at 3000MHz CL18, CR 1 at 1.35V. YMMV from Silicon Lottery and Motherboard. In my experience, even at lower speeds with lower timings, they weren't stable and didn't improve at all above 1.35V. However, changing the command frequency had no effect on stability and they could easily be overclocked to 3000MHz. they became unstable at 3066MHz and 3200MHz regardless of other settings. So who should buy this RAM? Someone who needs 64GB of RAM without paying a lot of money and without needing top-notch performance. For the purpose the sticks are intended to serve, they are 5/5. If you've got that RAM for a gaming machine anyway, it *really* has the hassle of manually overclocking (no XMP), but don't expect to be able to pull the performance out of it to compete with really fast RAM.
