Timings Are Good Enough - Workstation Flies Now

I don't care what you're told about timings in content creation, RAM is more important than anything and that bad boy got my workstation back by constantly using Always open 80% RAM by video editing apps + OBS.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Great upgrade solution and very easy installation

My desktop is already quite outdated so I needed to upgrade my 4k video editing components. After upgrading my processor and getting an SSD, my computer still wasn't as good as I had hoped. Of course, going from 8GB to 32GB is a big jump and now my computer is very fast. Install: Remove your computer case, press the tabs on your current RAM sticks, remove the RAM modules, and then push in the new RAM modules (requires considerable force to fully seat). The tab should close by itself if you…

No 2666 Memory - Computers and Accessories

Although advertised as 2666 PC 21300 memory, I will only be running 2400 memory at 1200 bus speed in my new Acer TC-390. I originally bought this too, upgraded the memory in Acer from 12 gigs to 16 gigs. I took out the 4GB Kingston 2666 chip and replaced it with a Teamgroup 2666. Then I restarted Acer and ran CPU-Z. He told me I have 16 gigabytes of system memory, clk 18 18 18 t2, and then I looked at the memory speed and saw that it went from 1333 mhz to 1200 mhz. I then took it out and put…

TEAMGROUP Elite DDR4 32GB Single (1 x 32GB) 2666MHz (PC4-21300)

I've been using the PC that came with this memory for about a month with no problems. The PC comes with 1x8GB RAM and there are only 2 memory slots, this memory card easily fit into another memory slot and I've been working with 40GB ever since. When I upgrade to the full 64GB capacity I will definitely be buying another of these memory cards. I don't use this computer as I'm not a gamer to begin with. I'm an advanced user and often have 50-70 sessions open at a time. Most of these are browsing

Lots of good and cheap RAM

I bought two sets of this RAM totaling 64GB which will allow you to get the most out of the Z390 AORUS Ultra motherboard it is installed on. Its intended use is a combination of gaming and computing, so this review was written with those aspects in mind (and why else would you need so much RAM?). The elephant in the review: The speed of this RAM is 2666 MHz CL19. It's terrible by today's gaming standards. Most mainstream gaming kits operate in the 3000-3200MHz CL16 band, and affordable kits…
