Any plumbing more than 30cm from the top of the sink will not work without extensions! Our sink has them at the base and this faucet does NOT come with fittings meaning it is designed to connect directly to the water mains. I didn't notice it until an hour after the replacement. Had to visit Lowes at 9:30pm and luckily found 1/2" male to male adapters that allowed me to connect old cables to new ones. Temporary fix for what the seller or manufacturer should have done. Measure or test Your connections first! They only give 3/8" or 1/2" female connectors for anything over 12". The sink is good enough, but that and how it relies on weight to keep the hose up isn't ideal. There's no way he can stay in the center like that.
