Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Tripp Lite SS3612 Gray 12 Outlet Power Strip with Surge Protection - 15ft. Cord, Metal Construction, 36 in. Length by Albert Gaines

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The mother of all splinters, I should have bought it years ago

Now that the kids are growing up and moving to college, install a home office in the guest room. Now imagine two computers, three or four monitors, a printer, a router, a backup power supply, a network switch, port splitters, lights, speakers, chargers for various things and any other devices that need to be connected somewhere, many with their big fat wall transformers blocking outlets next to them. I was sooooo tired of crazy chains of cheap 6 outlet power cords plugged into other 6 outlet power strips that plugged into power strips that plugged into every outlet I could reach and all the next rat of tangled power cords fed under the table, leading to all the gear. (Sound familiar?) A 24-outlet power strip mounted next to an 8-inch countertop elegantly solves the problem. No more than a foot or two from an outlet. Keep the power cords neatly folded and secured with Velcro so they never cross or get tangled. And there are many easily accessible open outlets. Remember not to exceed the circuit amperage. By the way, Tripp Lite is a quality brand, which is why I chose it.

Pros
