Wow why didn't I know about this article 13 years ago when our pool was installed. This is a lifesaver. You can choose a time frame to run the pool for up to 6 hours. The remote control makes it very convenient. We've been on and off for over 13 years with different time frames for operations. From winter cold to summer heat here in the south. When our pool pump failed a month ago, the installer suggested this. The plumber also helped install our pool 13 years ago. No one ever told me we could have a timer in our pool. This is salvation. Now it turns on and off by itself. We know how long our pool is open each day. We used to take naps and it just worked until we remembered to turn it off or wake up from sleep. I love this item. It's worth its weight in gold.
