Seems well built and suits my U1 group very well. With one exception, 2 vents point straight up. So when mounted on something exposed to the elements, the box will fill with water. You can just poke some small drainage holes in the bottom of the box, but I still don't want the battery and terminals getting wet all the time. I cut 2 thin pieces of plastic from the container and epoxy glued them to the bottom of the lid, then epoxy filled the top in the vent holes. The box has adequate ventilation in my opinion with 8 stamped tabs through which the battery cable enters the box. Whether you install it under the hood or out of the elements, the vents shouldn't be a problem. I mount mine in the back of a service truck to start my air compressor electrically so it's always out and the original design doesn't work for me. It's also well built and will hopefully be with me for years to come.
