After much research on this lens (and the XT-1 Graphite Edition) I finally decided to pull the trigger. Being primarily a wedding and family portrait photographer, my main concern after reading and seeing many reviews was that focus was going to be an issue. And when I received the camera and lens, I noticed what others have mentioned. It was definitely not the speed I was used to from my Nikon D800. So why the 5 star rating? Well, everything changed after I updated the camera body firmware from 2.0 to 3.0. Focusing is now fast and accurate. A world of difference! So if you had the same focus concerns I had, don't let that put you off. And I'm sure future updates will be faster and more accurate! By the way, the attached photo was accidentally taken at 2500 ISO. But you can't even tell! I love this camera and this lens!
