Review on 🧊 Rubbermaid White Easy Release Ice Cube Tray Set of 2 - Convenient and Compact 12.5'' x 5'' Design by Julie Serrano

Purchased to be used in place of an ice marker. After reviewing the reviews, this product turned out to be similar to the old Rubbermaid ice trays from a few years ago. Upon opening I am very disappointed. Although the dimensions of the trays are the same, the cubic spaces appear smaller (less deep), the plastic is thinner and lighter. The shells don't seem that strong. I'm afraid they will tear and leak after a while. They are stamped by Rubbermaid, not Mr. Küche like some trays and , and the packaging says "made in the USA". With all the 4 and 5 star reviews I really thought these trays would be worth it. They may be better than Chinese fakes, but I'd rather pay $4-5 knowing my trays will need replacing sooner rather than later. I'll stick with the "old school" for now. I'm going on Goodwill Monday for a replacement.
