Review on Black Cube Stainless Nonstick Cookware by Jenna Hicks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Five stars are not enough! Great.

I cannot give this product enough stars! I saw a similar item at an in house show and was very impressed. I searched for this brand and found this one (similar but in a special way - seamless - no rivets inside). The non-stick coating hidden in the hex laser is great. (Note: that doesn't mean Teflon - you'll be oiling this pan a little anyway - I like using Pam myself.) Clean-up is a breeze. In most cases, wiping with a damp paper towel is sufficient. However, if something sticks, soaking for a few minutes will loosen the food (and you can just clean the pan if you want - it really doesn't hurt this pan). I cook on induction, so the water boils in just a few minutes and the food cooks quickly and evenly. These pans are made from very high quality stainless steel and the non-stick coating doesn't scratch - I've never seen that before. The quality is higher! I'm a skeptic so I bought a pan a year ago - I've used it every day; I can attest that this pan will stand the test of time. (I can't say the same about my long-gone Revere Ware, or the many stainless steel, cast iron, "green," and/or "nonstick" pans I've had over the years.) So, now, after that, a year is one long exam, I put the whole sentence in it. No more wrestling with my stainless steel pots, complicated saucepans, or flaky "green" pans. Just a nice set to last until I die (who knows, maybe my kids will fight over who gets my pots and pans lol).

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Socket required
