IT WORKS WELL BUT BE CAREFUL WITH THE MICROWAVE AND DISHWASHER
I've wanted freezer containers for our extra portions for a long time and found our Rubbermaid and other brands cracked in the freezer over time. They work well, with very good, dense seas. I had multiple cracks. (The longest frozen ones?) I start by defrosting in the microwave (30-45 seconds), then transfer to a Corningware or other sturdy ceramic container with a lid and don't put it in the dishwasher if it has a heat dry cycle. In other words, I know it has limitations and is great for lunch-size portions of soups, casseroles, etc. Enjoy! :)
