Installed on a 2012 Chevy Traverse LT with 110,000 miles. total time 3 hours; do this job for the first time. Drain coolant, remove right front wheel, raise vehicle, remove front inner fender, loosen (4) 10mm bolts on water pump pulley, remove serpentine belt, (4) remove bolts and water pump pulley, remove (6) 10mm water pump mounting bolts, remove the old gasket, clean the engine block with brake parts cleaner to ensure a smooth mounting surface. Reassembly: Install a new gasket, apply a light coat of Permatex #2 on both sides, install a new water pump and torque to 7 ft.lbs. Install the pulley and hand tighten the bolts, tighten the bolts when the spool reaches 7 ft.lbs. Reinstall fenders, tires and fill with coolant. Tight workspace but manageable. The water pump can be removed through the top of the engine near the back of the fuse box.
