The cleats are very high and the padded footbed provides extra height. In addition, the spikes are moved to the center of the sole along the elevation. This design poses extreme risk of twisted/broken ankles. On my first day in these shoes, I attempted to change directions while running through bases. When I put my foot down, the spikes brushed the surface of the ground instead of digging into it. The boot rolled sharply and I sprained my ankle and fractured my fibula. I've played baseball and softball my entire life and this has never happened to other shoes. These are broken ankles.
