Since smell is mostly subjective, I don't think this product is bad. This provided a good shave in terms of foam thickness and smoothness. While the name "Tabac" actually advertises that the scent will smell like tobacco, I was hoping for a nice pipe tobacco smell - this stuff smells like they've managed to capture the essence of cheap cigarette smoke from a public restroom. The 70's when you could smoke anywhere. Crush some regular cigarettes and wipe your face with them. If you like this smell, you might like Tabac Original.
