I bought 2 of these to use with the wheelchair lift installed in my SUV. I have a power wheelchair that weighs 60 pounds. Although the straps have a maximum weight of 300 pounds. I wasn't sure I would count on trusting them not to break while lifting my wheelchair which was quite expensive. But I was pleasantly surprised when I received them to see that they are a lot stronger than I thought. The velcro itself is heavy and the velcro requires some force to close the velcro which is good. I wasn't aware until recently that Velcro, like Velcro, comes in different strengths, but it's definitely a durable material. I was also concerned that the metal carabiner might not be strong enough to attach to my sling. but after seeing it, i'm not worried.
