Excellent phone with one small exception

I chose the AT&T DECT 6.0 AT&T DECT 6.0 Digital Cord/Wireless Answering Machine (84100) because it was designed to work on a specific frequency is to avoid interference from other electronic devices to get rid of poor audio quality issues I was having with my VoIP provider. I soon realized that the problem was actually the ISP's fault, not the phone's. My previous phone was also a wired base/cordless phone but it ran at 2.5GHz. Since then I've switched providers and noticed a significant improvement in audio quality, which may be related to both the ISP and the phone. One feature I particularly like is the large, well-lit caller ID display that lets you see who's calling from anywhere in the world. Room. I also have a call waiting detection feature (from my ISP) that gives me the ability to disconnect the current call to answer an incoming call if I so choose. Also, I feel more secure having a corded base in addition to a cordless handset and it can be expanded up to 12 handsets. Another useful feature is that all call information is shown on the cordless handset display. I was pleasantly surprised to find a feature I wasn't aware of: It even lets me know if I have voicemail. In an ideal world, this phone would house a noise-cancelling headset, a much-needed feature for conducting business calls free of background noise - unfortunately not, unless there's a way to plug in a headset, which I haven't discovered yet. All in all, the AT&T DECT 6.0 Digital Wired/Wireless Answering Machine AT&T DECT 6.0 (84100) is feature-rich and offers excellent value for money.
