I was looking for a GPS receiver that would work on my Raspberry Pi network time server and I found it! My other GPS was key and it worked fine but it took a few minutes to get at least 3 satellites required by the software on the Raspberry Pi. Also, it didn't stay blocked and required me to fiddle with it. This GPS detects and fixes multiple satellites within a few seconds after connecting and starting the GPS server and stays connected to these satellites. Using the Windows U-Center software, I've monitored it for several days and found the GPS to be fast and sensitive, acquiring and locking on to 4+ satellites in a matter of seconds. I forgot to mention that the GPS is indoors and about 5ft from the window. Even faster outside. Its default output is NMEA0183 and keeps my NTP server running. My ham radio gear needs an accurate NTP server as my computer's time needs to be accurate to the millisecond and this GPS does it.
