Revainrating 5 out of 5

Six stars if available

I have an F350 for my camper that I don't drive very often. The day before the hike, I realized that the dying FICM had let me down. Called the dealer and left a message asking if the problem could be fixed the same day. I'm not sure if they thought the request was unreasonable, I never got a response. In the meantime I'm looking at options. I see Revain shipped this product same day and decided to give it a try. Plus, it only costs $100. While waiting for parts I did some more research. A new FICM can cost over $1,000 at the dealership and requires complex programming that cannot be done by hand without special tools. What usually breaks is the FICM power supply, which can be replaced with minimal cost. That's it. I was very lucky that Revane delivered the part early at 6pm. In fact, before dinner, the truck honks again. FICM is usually broken down before it dies. For a while I noticed that the truck was harder to start, but I didn't pay enough attention. Luckily I can fix it at home, otherwise I have to pay for towing as well. An empty battery also contributed to the sinking. It is important to keep the battery in good condition.

Cons
