Review on Candlewic 6-Inch Natural Wick Assemblies for Small Candles by Amy Mcleod

Excellent wicks! As a beginner, I bought a pack of natural, homemade wicks that worked so poorly with my candles that I almost gave up a new hobby (I thought it was me). It burned with black smoke and even blackened the candle! TERRIBLE! I immediately stopped burning and tried to save my wax from the candles. After doing my research, I received these candle wicks. These wicks are wonderful. They're great for tiny candles (max 4oz without tunneling. Of course, if they're larger, use two or more wicks :P). I used wicks for my soy candles and they didn't tunnel when burning, which bothered me a lot. They also burned VERY clean and left no residue after my first bag of wicks. I really liked these wicks as a beginner in candle making. Overall I would rate 10/10. Pros: Burns very clean Easy to use Great for small candles Doesn't tunnel into small candles Great for soy candles Cons: Cost I had one instance where I blew out the wick and it stayed red and heated up like charcoal giving off an unpleasant smell lol (most likely it was me, not the wick)
