Review on 🚗 Sherman TO1320262: Premium Toyota Prius Driver Side Mirror Replacement Part for Outside Rear View by Pat Slater

The part arrived on time and the packaging was secure. The mirror has been wrapped in bubble wrap separate from the glossy black plastic backing which will need to be painted by yourself. The bracket looked good, although the plastic bracket holding the OEM part was missing. The screw holes and threads were well positioned and the rubber around the mount helped secure it to my car's body. Installation was quick and easy using fairing removal tools, a screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench. However, you cannot drive with this mirror without getting sick. It dangles, wobbles, and seems a lot cheaper than what was paid for and promised. I'm disappointed. My car was in an accident; I'm just trying to fix the damage myself. It's all disappointing, but spending money on details that don't make sense is salt in the wound. This part does not work as "OE". If I had known how poorly made it was I would never have bought it. I could spend $20 on a side mirror just to be able to check it, but that performance and OE claim is unacceptable in my opinion. . Sweet. If I could I would return it and go to the dealer to try and find genuine OEM parts. I think I've learned my lesson. If the real innards break and fly off down the freeway (let's hope no one gets into an accident or gets hurt), that's my plan. My advice: save your money and look elsewhere if you don't mind shabby, unstable and cheap. a mirror that is only there for government inspection.
