Don't be fooled by advertising!

Looks like good braces but be careful! It says it fits thin shelves and can use 1" lumber, but that's a lie! It's impossible to drill through a 3/4 inch piece of wood with an A 27/64 drill bit without going through the top of the shelf. I just wasted two good pieces of pine trying to make this myself. You need at least 5/4 wood. Should have known better when I looked at the specs but again the description said you can but you can't. Seam strength is ok. Thickness and ease of installation are the main issues, and I'm not a fan, but that can't be done with 1x wood.
