I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
Some pros: As entry-level monitors sound great, there is enough bass, I think for writing, mixing, etc. electronic music in general is what you need. Has cons: I found chips on the bottom surface on the edges (perhaps from the factory, or perhaps already damaged somewhere in the store) Look carefully when buying.
