Kitfort's humidifier was our pick for best overall value within its price range. When making a decision based on customer feedback, practically every other humidifier had an issue with leaking, and at the end of the day, the surface on which the humidifier stood was covered in water. After reading the evaluations of this humidifier, I did not come across any issues of this nature, so I decided to go with it. Absolutely no second thoughts, very content with the acquisition. It soars extremely well, there is a steam regulator, a timer (we turn it on for two to three hours before going to bed, and it goes off at night), and you can turn out the backlight when you're using it in the evening. It is not noisy and has a very fashionable appearance; it is made of high-quality materials; it is also the perfect size; it adds moisture to the entire apartment; and most significantly, the place on which it stands does not become a puddle)) I'm not sure how precisely the humidity indicator works, but I can tell you that after the humidifier has been running for a while, the gas in the kitchen no longer burns blue but rather red. This is a sign that there is sufficient humidity in the air and that this humidifier can handle the needs of the entire apartment. There is a section for essential oils and fragrance oils. The aroma is not particularly intense, but I have tried two different oils at this point. I found that using oils with a lower viscosity helped it open up more.
