Fits the American Standard Champion 4 toilet - but see update, part is different

This product works with the American Standard Champion 4 toilet seat - the seat that comes with the unit. Color aside: it's white, my unit is bone or linen. I've been looking for similar hardware in bone, linen, off-white for quite some time but couldn't find any hinges other than white or chrome. I have some spray paint of the right color that claims to work on plastic so I'll give it a try. These hinge parts appear to be identical to those used on the original AS toilet EXCEPT: they have quite a bit of "mould" from the manufacturing process; Original AS are smooth. Even the screw holes match. Since I plan to paint mine to match, I intend to gently remove the mold marks with fine sandpaper. In terms of quality, I wouldn't say that this AS "equals", but of course one broke after a few years. Easy enough to remove and replace - again. Update: I didn't search hard enough. The part that broke for me is the "lower" part of the hinge that attaches to the bottom of the seat. The parts in this package MATCH this part (except for the color). However, the hinge part that fits the LID toilet seat is different. The screw holes match, but the "arm" that goes into the roller portion of the hinge is 1/2" longer than stock. Using this portion will lengthen the front of the cover by 3/8" or 1/ "Pushed" 2" past the front of the seat. That wouldn't look great. I didn't notice it at first because the bottom part was cracked. On closer inspection I noticed that the other side at the bottom of the seat was also cracked and was about to fail.I will use 2 pieces of the bottom hinge from this product but keep the rest of the original hardware.
