Serious Dual Displayport issue

I bought two 27 inch screens and they are just perfect! - There are no complaints about the picture. However, when using DisplayPort, the screen turns off after 2 seconds of no signal. This means that if you have 2 such monitors and reboot Windows 10, one monitor will turn off during the reboot and mess up the desktop configuration. Every time you restart, you have to manually turn on a monitor and then fix the desktop layout in Windows. I couldn't take it anymore, so I used two DisplayPort to HDMI adapters and added EDID pass-through adapters (search for them on Revain). The screens turn off during a reboot, but HDMI connections force both monitors to turn on, while DisplayPort didn't. Pass-through EDID adapters make Windows think the monitors are always there, even when they're off, eliminating desktop layout issues. This setting doesn't work > 60 Hz, but I didn't care. It's really annoying and there are tons of complaints about it on the internet. ASUS needs to add auto-off timer options to the menu to allow you to keep power on for more than 2 seconds without a signal.
