The green squeegee is a tough version of a flexible material. It flexes but is noticeably stiff. In fact, this may not be the ideal condition for wiping down shower doors or windows. However, it is excellent for squeezing/wiping out air bubbles when applying window tint. For this task the rubber is hard but not sharp and not pliable when it hits the tinting material. However, there is an issue with the quality control of the product. On one side of the handle, the seam has several raised edges that are quite sharp. If the user does not cut/grind these sharp edges, they will "bite" the fingers/hand. Eventually there will be a serious scrape or cut. I've included two close-ups to show examples of raised edges. In terms of usefulness, I have already indicated how I will use this product. Hard rubber is also suitable for safely removing snow from car windows. I don't know how effective rubber is at de-icing a car window/windshield (not just this product, but most ice scrapers are made out of hard plastic, not rubber). In general, hard rubber has certain advantages in some cases. Sharp protrusions pose a safety hazard and reduce the rating. So this scraper gets 4 stars with a medium recommendation.
