Review on Enhanced Edifier Exclaim E10 Bi-Amped 2.0 Speaker System by Adam Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best pair of stereo speakers I've ever had!

I bought these speakers to replace a pair of old Altec Lansings that I've been using for almost a decade (I first bought a lousy Genius 2.1 SW-G2.1 from 2000 and am returning them) and I couldn't be happier with this new pair of Edifier e10s! I was skeptical at first due to their small size and unusual shape, but the sound that comes from them is impressive. They have crisp, clear mids and highs, and the bass is actually very good. Could shake the table turning up the volume and I don't think I'll ever need them as much as they can. Anyone looking for a good pair of stereo speakers at a good price should definitely buy one! Pros: Great sound with crisp mids, highs and powerful bass. (combined with a low center of gravity for the weight) ensures these speakers will not tip over. Small form factor: Takes up very little space (but about as much as a regular pair of stereo speakers I believe) Cons: The form factor makes installation difficult. keep them (and they look like snails) but once you have them in place I don't see any reason why you need to move them really much. I'm not holding them by the thin front of the speaker I guess. a weighted floor can break them (not really a disadvantage). The bass might not be loud enough for those who love the premium bass found on many 2.1 systems, but you can't beat the price. There's only a manual power button and volume up/down on the right speaker. I wish it had some additional features to control the treble, bass, balance etc. All in all I would recommend these speakers to anyone on a budget!

Pros
  • Volume and standby power buttons.
Cons
  • May Damaged
